Hi, I’m Preston — the designer and maker behind Preston Works. I create high-quality, functional 3D-printed products and help people bring their ideas to life through design and custom printing. Everything here is made by me with precise detail, creativity, and a love for problem-solving.
Everything started in high school with my first ever CAD (computer automated design) class and my first 3d print. It was a simple keychain but it opened a wide range of possibilities. I started thinking about how I can fix any problem by 3d printing a solution.
I got my first ever 3d printer for Christmas that year along with a controller. I am a big fan of Smash Bros, and would often bring my GameCube controller with me to tournaments and to my high school Esports. Overtime, my controller broke from the wear and tear of travel, so I decided to protect this new one and get a case. I looked for hours and found nothing, until a thought hit me: I could just make my own. After a month of measuring, printing, fixing, and reprinting, I was finally finished.
With help and support from my parents, logo and design help from my art major sister, and professional photography and editing from my younger sister, I am now finally able to share my products with the world.
